As a domestic servo motor manufacturer, today we want to popularize science and technology about the working principle of servo motor!
The word 'servo' derives from the Greek word 'slave'. 'Servo motor' can be understood as a motor that absolutely obeys the command of the control signal: before the control signal is sent out, the rotor is stationary; when the control signal is sent out, the rotor rotates immediately; when the control signal disappears, the rotor can stop immediately.
Servo motor is a micro-special motor used as an actuator in automatic control device. Its function is to convert electrical signals into angular displacement or angular velocity of the rotating shaft.
Servo mechanism is an automatic control system that enables the output controlled variables of the object's position, orientation and state to follow the arbitrary change of the input target (or given value). Servo is mainly positioned by pulses. Basically, it can be understood that when a servo motor receives a pulse, it will rotate the angle corresponding to a pulse to achieve displacement.
Because the servo motor itself has the function of sending out pulses, every angle of rotation of the servo motor will send out a corresponding number of pulses, thus forming a response to the pulses received by the servo motor, or called closed-loop, so that the system will know how many pulses were sent to the servo motor, and how many pulses were received back at the same time, so that it can be very precisely controlled. The motor can be rotated to achieve accurate positioning, which can reach 0.001 mm.
